Idia Aisien To Play “Nneka” In Remake Of Nigerian Classic “Nneka The Pretty Serpent”

Nigerian media personality and TV girl Idia Aisen has revealed she’ll be making her film debut playing Nneka in Play Network’s remake of Nigerian thriller classic “Nneka The Pretty Serpent.”Idia Aisien To Play "Nneka" In Remake Of Nigerian Classic "Nneka The Pretty Serpent"

For sometime, there have been speculations as to who the lead character for the much-anticipated remake would be. Idia Aisen made the big reveal while sharing a photo of herself looking blazing hot in a bikini.

She captioned the post:

“Nneka is back and she’s coming for the jugular!
It is with immense honor that I share with you all (FINALLY!!) that I starred in my first movie, Nneka the Pretty Serpent, as Nneka Agu.”

Idia Aisien also shared a new trailer of the film showing her portray the chilling character Nneka in the film.

Speaking on the film, the screenwriter Baruch Apata says.

“Expect to see scenes and faces from the original story but ideas not explored before”, Apata said “The story will take a global approach with a background story that answers some questions that the original story barely explores”.

Directed by Tosin Igho, “Nneka the Pretty Serpent” was coproduced by Ramsey Nouah, Chris Odeh and Chinenye Esuene.

 

“Nneka The Pretty Serpent” will drop in cinemas on December 18th.
