BBNaija’s season 3 housemate Omashola Oburoh has responded to a video of him garbed in rags looking homeless on the streets.
In the video, an emaciated Omashola is seen sitting barefooted on the pavement of an unnamed street with a nylon bag that appeared to hold his belongings.
The video was shared on October 28, 2021, on Instagram by his fellow ex-housemate Ikechukwu Onyeama who wondered if it was real or just a skit.
“I just hope this is some sort of skit or movie @sholzy23 After seeing your last post, should I be worried? You haven’t been active on social media since your last post…call me!,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Omashola has responded to the now-viral video with an Instagram post. In it, he said that he was dealing with some deep issues and thanked people who checked upon him.
“I want to use this medium to thank everybody who checked up on me one way or the other. I’m overwhelmed by your love and support and I sincerely appreciate it. I was dealing with some deep issues but I am making headways and better now by God’s Grace. Thank You 🙏🏽❤️💐”

Some of his celebrity friends have asked him to pick their calls, suggesting that he may not be taking calls.
The reality star had just a few days before hinted that he may be suffering from depression. Omashola shared on his Instagram page on Monday 25th October an image of a piece of paper sprinkled with droplets of tears.
In the post, Omashola disclosed that he is “lonely in a world surrounded by people”. He also lamented the “pressure” he is being faced with.
He added that though he is keeping it cool, he is “slowly reaching a breaking point”.
