HBO and BBC have a new show “I May Destroy You’ in the pipes and it may just be the next TV sensation.

The series is the good work of Micheala Cole, creator of hit TV Comedy series ‘Chewing Gum’.

This drama series shines the light on consent, s*x, and navigating the murky waters of contemporary dating.

“I May Destroy You“, explores the question of s*xual consent where, in the new landscape of dating and relationships, the distinction between liberation and exploitation lies.

The story centers on Arabella Essiuedu (Coel), an easily distracted, non-committal, and carefree woman. She finds herself feted as the ‘voice of her generation,’ with an agent, a book commission, and a helluva lot of pressure.
