Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has bragged of bringing back a Grammy next year. While performing at the Livespot X Festival on Saturday, Burna Boy said: “I go carry the Grammy come back and when I come back, we go reason.”
Mr Benson Idonije, his grandfather had predicted that the African Giant artist will win the 2020 Grammys. Mr Benson, while speaking with Punch Newspapers, revealed that his grandson is the biggest artist in his category.

On 20th November 2019, the Recording Academy announced the nominees. Burna Boy’s album “African Giant” received a nomination for the “Best World Music Category”.
The Academy nominated him in this category alongside Altin Gün for “Gece”, Bokanté & Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley for “What Heat”, Nathalie Joachim with Spektral Quartet for “Fanm D’Ayiti”, and Angelique Kidjo for “Celia”.
As the weeks draw near for the international award ceremony set to hold in January 2020. Burna Boy is hopeful that he is winning the Grammys and Nigerians are behind him.
