American gospel singer Kelly Price has narrated how she died but survived COVID-19.
In a chat with TMZ, Price said she and her husband had contacted COVID-19 and weren’t permitting visitors at their home.
The Grammy-nominated RnB and gospel singer was earlier reported missing after being admitted to the hospital in August following her diagnosis.
But while in a chat with TMZ singer narrated how she died in the ICU as doctors battled to save her life.
“I was never missing. I was in my home, being seen by doctors. Everyone in my family knew where I was,” she said.
“At some point, they lost me. I woke up some days later and the first thing I remember was the team of doctors standing around me and asking if I knew what year it was. I died, remember waking up in ICU.”

Kelly Price also talked about her journey through recovery and the damage the virus did to her system.
“I am facing a very uphill battle right now. Have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be what I like to call concert ready again. I suffered a lot of internal damage,” the 48-year-old music star added.
On Monday 27th September, Price shared a message of gratitude to her Instagram followers. This was her first post since her COVID-19 diagnosis.
“Thank you for your love, concern and prayers. I truly appreciate them and all of you who sincerely did them. They are not lost on me. I promise. I’m going back into solace and silence where I can put first things first and that is to be restored to be healthy and to be whole.” she wrote

Kelly Price, has had eight studio albums to her name. She lost her grandfather to COVID-19 in 2020.
