Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo is finding it hard to continue on the path of decency.

, if she stops twerking, which is now a source of income to her, she may not be able to feed her son.

“I hear people are saying that Poloo has come back to twerk. When did I go for a break? Do we go for a break from twerking? ” she asked.

In the video she continued; “you want to take my livelihood away from me? How will I look after my son if I stop twerking?”.

She also added that she has even been hired a company’s brand influencer because of her twerking.

“Do you think if it’s not the twerking or the growing and the energy, will they come? I am not going t stop twerking pls I beg you. If you don’t know how to twerk, don’t insult me. Come and learn or watch,” she stated.

Akuapem Poloo was convicted of publication of obscene material after she posed for a n*de photoshoot with her son in June 2020.

The Circuit Court sitting in Accra had sentenced Poloo to three months in jail over the social media post.

The photo, which attracted criticism, had shown her unclad in front of her son, who was dressed only in underwear. The photoshoot was used to mark the boy’s seventh birthday. She as later granted a GHc80,000 bail.
