How To Stay Healthy At Home Using These Google Tools

In response to increasing searches and interest in “exercise” as a keyword, Google has published a blog post to help people find tools that are useful to their health. The post encourages people to seek out creative ways to exercise and engage in other healthy routines while maintaining social distancing protocols.

YouTube

The first step that Google took using YouTube was promoting Stay Home #WithMe videos from content creators. These videos mostly surface in place of ads on the streaming platform. However, in addition to these videos that ask people to stay at home, there are lots of other videos that help people stay healthy.

Meditate With Me compiles a selection of videos that are related to meditation. There is also a Work Out With Me playlist for those who prefer exercises and Dance With Me features an impressive list of dance videos that conquer geography, age, and cultural boundaries.

Google Play

On Google’s store, the company has gathered special deals and free content relating to meditation and exercise. There is also a list of apps that will help you sleep better and stay healthy in the store.

Android TV

Any smart TV that uses the Android TV software would have been seeing health-related apps more frequently than before. This is because Google started rolling out the Stay mindful and fit collections for customers this week.

Google Fit redesign

The latest update on Google Fit will allow users of the iOS and Android app to catch information in one glance. This is due to improved “bold text and bright visuals” that the new design offers. Also, the improvements are being rolled out for Wear OS that powers Google smartwatches as well.

The ultimate goal of these Google tools is to help individuals stay healthy as they remain at home. However, with many cities around the world lifting the lockdown, these tools may not see much use soon.
