How To Start Streaming Your Favourite Games On Facebook Gaming App

Playing games is exciting and relaxing but with Facebook Gaming, you have the opportunity to share your favorite gaming techniques with others and follow a community of gamers as well.

 

Streaming games on the Facebook Gaming platform does not require extra gear (if you don’t already own one). Also, the aim does not have to be monetising your time, you could just be there for the fun; like how many use other social media platforms for recreation.

 

With the Facebook Gaming mobile application, all you need is a Facebook account and you can start streaming games directly from your smartphone.

 

How to stream games from your smartphone on Facebook Gaming

 

 

— First, you need to download the Facebook mobile app, here are links to download it from Google Play Store and from Apple App Store.

— Once you have installed the app, you can then choose to continue with the Facebook account linked to your smartphone. If you don’t have a Facebook account, you will see a link to create one.

 

— After going through the remaining prompts of following accounts and selecting games you like, you are officially a member of the Facebook Gaming community.

 

— To stream games, tap on the video icon towards the bottom right. You will see an ‘Add a Game’ option at the bottom of the popup screen. Tap on it to add games from your smartphone that you will like to play. Or, see the next tip.

 

— If you want to stream games live on Facebook gaming, follow the steps below:

  • Tap on your profile (at the top right corner of your screen).
  • Tap the icon that says ‘Go Live’ then select the game you want.
  • Grant necessary permissions.
  • A small blue notification that says ‘fLive’ appears, tap on it. Next, you will see options on who can see the live stream and permission to record your screen.
  • After granting this, the notification will turn red if your Live stream has started.

 

Note that Facebook Gaming requires a good network connection or your video would look grainy. If your connection is very poor, the app will not stream your game.
