Earlier, in June Bovi had called out the director Niyi Akimolayan, accusing him of being a clout chasing, egostic and inferiority complex driven director.
Bovi lashed out at Akimolayan after the latter promoted “My Village People” alongside “Prophetess” sharing by flyers of both projects.
The comedian dragged Akimolayan for not posting the film weeks after its release. The entertainer also alleged that the director had originally refused to identify with the project when it was released.
Bovi said the director’s action had followed a slight disagreement that ensued between them during the shooting of the project.
Niyi Akinmolayan on his part did not respond.
