The Chinese regulatory agency, TENAA has revealed specifications for the soon to be launched Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. While some of the features are impressive, there are still some questionable things about the smartphone.
Huawei technologies smartphone brand, Honor has announced that it will be launching the Honor 30 series on 15th April 2020. It is expected that this launch will be online as many tech events since the wake of the coronavirus pandemic has been.
While many tech enthusiasts await the official launch, the smartphones’ specifications have appeared online. The Honor 30 series brings the regular Honor 30 and its companion, Honor 30 Pro.
While both phones boast similar specifications, there are still some major differences. For one thing, the leading rear camera of Honor 30 Pro is a 50MP machine while that of its sister is a 40MP tool. Yet, they both use similar selfie cameras that has a 32MP capacity.
Another difference is that Honor 30 Pro will come with a Kirin 990 5G chipset. While the regular version will use an upcoming Kirin 985 platform. Not much is available on what differentiates the two chipsets at this time.

Also, without images, it is hard to tell how many rear cameras the smartphones will bring or how they are even arranged. But, this is likely to build intrigue and anticipation which is understandable.
Further specification details about the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro reveals that they both use Full HD+ resolution OLED screens. These screens measure about 6.57”.
As expected, they both support 5G network connectivity. But surprisingly, they are using 3,900 mAh batteries. This has been a major concern for many who have seen the specifications. It is disappointing that the powerful smartphone will not have a battery capacity of up to 5,000 mAh as competitors are fitting their own devices with.
Nevertheless, Honor 30 will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. Honor 30 Pro, on the other hand, will have two versions; one with the 8GB RAM and another with 12GB RAM. Both versions of the Pro edition will have 128GB or 256GB storage.
