Project Manager of the late Sammie Okposo, Hillary Vincent, has come out to debunk claims that the singer slumped and died
Recall that there were reports that the ‘Wellu Wellu’ crooner slumped and died on Friday, 25th November 2022
Setting the records straight, Vincent in an interview with Punch, said late Okposo died in his sleep.
“It is not true that Sammie slumped and died. That report is false. At the right time, the family will set the records straight. But, I can tell you authoritatively that he did not slump. Rather, he just did not wake up from his sleep.
As regards the funeral arrangements, the details will be made known by the family. But right now, they are still in grief and mourning the departed singer.” he said

Meanwhile, Gospel singer Sonnie Badu has praised Late Sammy Okposo’s wife Ozzy Okposo, for standing by the singer during his trying days.
Sharing a photo of the late Sammie Okposo and his beautiful wife on Instagram, Sonnie Badu wrote “I just want to say thank you to Mrs. Okposo. You are a good woman. You stood behind your husband until the end. He said so many good things about you in his challenging moments.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for covering him when he needed it .. Rest well #LandLord #RipSammieOkposo”
Recall that Sammie Okposo had made headlines early in the year after he publicly apologized to his wife, Ozioma for cheating on her with another lady in the United States.
