Hollywood star actress Halle Berry says her boyfriend, Van Hunt, is the “love of her life”.

Beery gushed over her man in front of a group of her peers at the 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television event, where she accepted the Career Achievement Award on Monday.

The actress, who has been divorced three times, said she “finally found love this year,” according to E! News.

“You’ve watched me fail and fail and fail and fail,” the 55-year-old said. “Besides directing my first movie, I also found the love of my life and I know it’s true and this is how I know it’s true.

Because you fail so many times, you know what wrong looks like,” she added. “And because I failed so many times, I now know what love really looks like.”

In September 2020, Berry first confirmed her romance with Hunt, 51, by sharing a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt with the musician’s name on it, writing “now ya know… ♥️🦶🏽.”

Berry’s rocky dating history spans three marriages that began in the early 1990s.

She first wed baseball player David Justice from 1993 to 1997, then singer Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005, and Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016. She shares her 8-year-old son Maceo with the latter.

The “Losing Isaiah” star also has a 13-year-old daughter, Nahla, from a long-term relationship with Gabriel Aubry, whom she dated from 2005 to 2010.

Meanwhile, Hunt has an 18-year-old son from a previous relationship
