God of War Ragnarök may be some months away but that has not stopped speculations about the coming game, with the most recent being news about its improved features.

According to GamesRadar, the upcoming God of War Ragnarök will have improved accessibility features. The makers have gone the extra mile to make it much better than the original game.

The Sony Santa Monica Studio already revealed that the game would feature personalized subtitles and captions, a high-contrast mode, UI resizing, auto-sprint, and more. However, lead UX designer Mila Pavlin mentioned that there would be automated platforming and climbing features.

Also, you will be able to adjust the timing of environmental puzzles by applying slowdown when they want to through a simple directional input. This comes in handy when you have to trigger two different mechanisms within a few seconds, the feature make the seconds longer.

There will be an auto-pickup support as well for health globule to allow you stay focused on your gameplay, especially when fending off attacks.

In addition, you get to turn on an on-screen controller visualization which makes the camera track key objectives on its own.

Pavlin explains that while games are meant to be challenging, they are designing God of War Ragnarök to include more people.

“Accessibility features are not just accessibility features. They also help to improve the experience for everyone. Ragnarok is about moving into the next phase. For us, that meant including more people, making sure that people can customize more, and making sure that it’s a comfortable play experience for everybody,” he said.

Scheduled for launch on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5), it will be the ninth installment in the God of War series.
