Get The Music On! Elon Musk Says Tesla Outside Speakers Will Blast Jazz And Elevator Music

What else can Tesla do after already perfecting electric automobile tech? CEO Elon Musk says that the new features of Tesla cars will allow it to play snake Jazz and elevator music.

In a Tweet on Thursday, Musk revealed that engineers at Tesla are working on more unique sounds for its vehicles. Already, the cars can emit a fart sound with a built-in ‘fart mode’. But, this is obviously not enough.

The external speakers that Tesla vehicles come with are actually compulsory and not an added luxury. In 2018, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a final verdict that required electric vehicles to have external speakers that emit warning sounds.

This became important because many electric vehicles emit almost no sounds when traveling at low speeds. Thus, the governmental body placed the mandate that at less than 18.6 mph speeds, the vehicles should emit warning sounds through external speakers.

Also, most Tesla vehicles are designed to be noiseless, making the warning sounds important. Besides the Jazz and elevator music coming to Teslas, Elon Musk also says that owners will be getting more fun games to play in their cars.

Below, we see a video of how one Tesla owner is playing one of such games while their car is parked.
