Funke Akindele Receives Lexus SUV Gift Worth N135 Million

Actress Funke Akindele has added a 2020 Lexus SuperSports LX 570 to her garage.

The movie star’s husband and rapper JJC Skillz took to his Instagram page where he shared a video of the SUV.

Congratulations @funkejenifaakindele Hard work pays my darling. Congratulations on your new ride. Thank you to all the jenifan, and every single supporter. 🙌🏾 God bless and uplift you,” he captioned the video.


The actress also posted a photo of the SUV on her 12.9 million Instagram page. However, she added that it was a gift.

According to the Nigerian cars website, Carmart, a brand new LX 570 goes for about N135M.

Meanwhile, Funke Akindele Bello and JJC Skillz’ blockbuster film “Omo Ghetto (The Saga)”, recently became Nollywood’s highest-grossing movie of all time. The 2020 comedy film has broken a four-year record formally held by Kemi Adetiba’s film, “The Wedding Party”.


In a statement released by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria, “Omo Ghetto (The Saga)” has so far grossed ₦468,036,300 after holding the number one spot for its third week in a row.

“Omo Ghetto (The Saga)” broke a four years record by knocking off Kemi Adetiba’s 2016 Comedy film, “The Wedding Party”.


“Wedding Party” had been Nollywood highest-grossing film with ₦453,000,000. Coming in the third position is, “The Wedding Party 2” with ₦433,197,377,” the statement said.


“Omo Ghetto (The Saga)” was released on 25th December 2020. The film is a sequel to 2010 “Omo Ghetto”
