Nollywood actress Funke Akindele turns 45 years old today.
The screen diva turned politician took to her Instagram page to share beautiful photos to mark the day.

Meanwhile, Funke Akindele is running as the deputy governorship candidate under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The movie star made the announcement known via her Instagram page on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
“Dear Lagosians it is important to share with you my decision to venture into what I consider a much bigger facet to serve humanity. I am convinced it is right to hear from me directly.
My decision is not just to accept this huge responsibility but to also work tirelessly and complement Jandor’s burning desire to see our dear Lagos live up to its full potential.”. She said in a video
The movie star said she’ll be putting her acting career on hold for the purpose of the new path.
This will be the first time Funke Akindele will be celebrating her birthday without her now estranged husband JJC Skillz.
In June, JJC Skillz openly declared that his marriage is over.
Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz got married in 2016. They welcomed their set of twins in 2018.
