Five Ways To Fix An iPhone With Network Issues

Finding service in a remote area can be a hassle sometimes. It can also be an absolute bummer if you need to make urgent contact with the outside world but then your iPhone has network issues. The No Service notification will probably be the bane of your life at this point.

 

There are a few ways to fix these network issues on the iPhone device. This is especially if your phone just suddenly loses network for a few days.

 

First, try to make sure that the area you are in has a fair network connection. You can ask other people around there who use the same network provider. Then follow the steps below to fix your network problem.

 

1. Turn data on and off

  • Once you have confirmed internet connection, turn your data on and off.
  • Tap the Settings app on the iPhone’s home screen.
  • Tap Mobile Data and move it off and then back on. The bar goes green when mobile data is enabled.
  • Just doing this may pretty much help restore data to the phone.
  • If you are in another country and wish to roam your device, you would need to enable international roaming.
  • Do this by going to the Mobile Data section, then tap the Mobile Data option and turn on Roaming.

 

2. Update carrier settings

The carrier settings enable the selected network used on the iPhone to make calls, use data, and check emails. It is important to make sure that the settings are up to date to enjoy good service on your device.

  • Do this by connecting to your cell ro Wi-Fi network.
  • Then Check the carrier settings to make sure they are up to date by going to the Settings app.
  • Tap General and scroll down to About. If the Carrier Setting needs an update, a prompting will show here.
  • Then click on Update Carrier Settings and follow the prompting to do an update.

 

3. Restart Your Phone

Another option would be to restart your device. Gadgets sorts of work better after a restart for some weird reason. No one has been able to give a concrete explanation for it but, like humans, maybe they need sleep sometimes.

  • So just click on the start button on the edge of your phone to turn it off.
  • Turn it right back on a few seconds after it goes completely off.

 

4. Update your iOS

  • The iOS you are using on your phone may be obsolete. To update it, go to the Settings app on the iPhone.
  • Then click on General and Software Update afterwards.
  • Your phone will show you when a new version is available. There will be a red notification there.
  • Click it and follow the instructions to update.

 

5. Contact the Network Provider

Just like on medicine ads, if symptoms persist after all these, we strongly advise that you contact your network provider. They will offer the necessary assistance because maybe the problem is actually from them.
