Ex BBNaija Housemates Tacha and Mercy have been trending on social media over their CIROC partnership.
Tacha was the first to upload a video receiving a customized bottle of the alcoholic beverage.
Social media users were quick to ask if it was an endorsement, making the ex-housemate to upload a photo stating that it is a partnership.
She had received numerous congratulatory messages from her fans.
Mercy, on the other hand, has also uploaded a photo of her customized CIROC bottle.
See photo below:
Now fans of both housemates are at loggerheads on social media arguing over whose partnership is fake or real.
Just after leaving BBNaija house, it was rumoured that Mercy had become a Möet and Chandon ambassador.
Weeks later, it was revealed that Mercy is not an ambassador of the brand. Möet and Chandon had only supported her party with bottles of luxury champagne.
It was gathered that Möet and Chandon aren’t signing any ambassador at the moment. Also, the company generally allows fans of the brand to take photos in their office. That is to say, the photos on the internet depicted Mercy’s visit to their office, and nothing more.

Top fashion entrepreneur and Vlogger Toke Makinwa has waded into the rift between fans of both ex-housemates.
In her tweet, she advised that these fans should stop putting pressure on the reality TV stars.
See her tweet below:
Been so long since I aired my thoughts on social issues cos I’m busy building my empire but you BBrothernaija fans really need to stop tripping and putting so much pressure on your favourite house mates…

You guys are causing more harm than good, stop putting them against each other, the show is over let them focus on building their lives , this type of constant competition causes depression, just quit already
— Toke Makinwa (@tokstarr) November 21, 2019
You can support your favourite housemate outside the house without fighting and insulting yourselves or other housemates, get your own lives on and leave them to figure this new phase, we are all tired
— Toke Makinwa (@tokstarr) November 21, 2019
Let’s hope these fans will listen to Toke Makinwa’s advice and let sleeping dogs lie, as it appears that both Tacha and Mercy CIROC partnership is real.
