Nigerian rapper Eva Alordiah has revealed why she has stayed off the media and refused to grant an interview in the past five years.
The rapper cum makeup artist took to her Instagram page on Wednesday 16th February to drag bloggers who take pleasure in disseminating fake news.
In the post, Alordiah shared a screenshot of a story by a blogger with a caption that reads that she has given birth.
However, the featured image is that of American rapper Eve who recently welcomed her first child at age 43.
In her lengthy caption, the 33-year-old rapper stated that Nigerian bloggers are all out for traffic and money without spending time to research.
She implored bloggers to do better in their profession instead of writing “junks” that soil the image of public figures.
“Proof yet again that many Nigerian Bloggers have no actual talent, do no research and do not think. Throughout my career, one of my biggest struggles has been the press.
Uncultured, talentless, crass, ignorant and a collection of Ad-money hungry individuals who would do better if they went back to school.
This is why I have not granted anyone a single interview in more than 5 years now.
Many of them do nothing but rush for the headlines, create confusion and write junk for Likes and Comments.
But the bigger problem is what such sorry mess this type of ignorant, unchecked journalism does for brands and creatives like myself who are just trying to do good in the world.
There’s a lot of useless, poorly written articles with our names all over the Internet and it is just all bad for brands.
I am calling out ALL Nigerian bloggers and imploring you guys to please do better”

Eva Alordiah, is a Nigerian rapper, entertainer, make-up artist, fashion designer and entrepreneur.
Her debut EP, titled “The GIGO E.P”, was released for free digital download on 20th November 2011.
Eva is the owner of makeupByOrsela, a company that specializes in Makeup services. In November 2014, Eva released her self-titled second EP. Her debut studio album, “1960: The Album”, was released in September 2016.
