Netflix has a new film coming called “Breaking Bad”. The producers of the new film released a teaser with the title, “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie”. Premiering on 11th October 2019, the newly released clip does not give much away.

The teaser showed a conversation with the low-level meth distributor from the “Breaking Bad” series, Skinny Pete, being interrogated. He was heard saying, “I don’t know what to tell you. I have no idea where he is. No idea where he’s headed, either. North, south, east, west, Mexico, the moon. I don’t have a clue.” The plot will revolve around Walter White’s wingman, Jesse Pinkman, escaping from captivity.

However, it is unsure if we will see Walter White appear in the new film. Consequently, the lead actor who plays meth operator in the series, Bryan Cranston, did not acknowledge if he will be in the film. Although, he confirmed that the film was happening.

The new El Camino film will be a Netflix exclusive, even though the series was initially aired on conventional television. It attributes its viral success to Netflix. The creator of the show, Vince Gilligan, said that Netflix kept them on the air.

However, he said Netflix helped viewers catch up on the final episodes. Also, it was the only platform where a lot of people were able to watch the spinoff show in some countries, like Nigeria. It was only logical that the film will be a Netflix exclusive.

Meanwhile, fans are looking forward to joining Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) on the run from police. He struggles to come to terms with his past to create a new future. The finale of the TV series saw Pinkman speeding away in a car after escaping the drug lab run by drug lord Todd Alquist’s uncle, Jack Welker. The show ran from 2008 to 2013.

Meanwhile, the film is produced by Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Charles Newirth, Diane Mercer and Paul. Also, it was in association with Sony Pictures Television.
