In celebration of the 25th anniversary of PES, eFootball PES 2020 players got interesting coin bonuses as the gaming company announced some changes due to the coronavirus.
Starting from Monday 27th April 2020, it gave users 100 coins reward for each day they logged into the game. This bonus will run for a whole week and end on 4th May 2020.
eFootball PES 2020 is a football simulation video game developed by PES Productions and published by Konami for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and IOS.
In addition to this news, the game developers also sent a message to notify their users that the coronavirus outbreak was affecting some of the features they looked forward to.
The administrators said that they would be re-introducing some players from the Iconic Moments Series instead of bringing a total set of new players.

Iconic Moments Series in eFootball PES 2020 allows game players to sign retired real-life football stars. Usually, the developers changed the set of players regularly to keep things interesting.
But as explained in the message: in trying to curb the spread of the coronavirus, it was impossible to replace the already used Iconic Moments Series players.
Thus, when gamers eventually acquire the Special Agent token, they would only be able to sign such players as; G. Batistuta, F. Totti, CAFU, D. Beckham, P. Scholes, P. Inzaghi, P. Maldini, and others.
This restriction will last from 23rd April until at least 13th May, that is: three weeks of the Iconic Moments Series.
The gaming company assured users that it is working hard to bring new Iconic players as soon as possible.
This is another testament to the far-reaching implications of the coronavirus pandemic. It is not leaving any sector unscathed and the gaming world is bearing its own share of the burden.
However, it has not been all cloudy and gloomy for the gaming industry. The social distancing measures have pushed more people to seek indoor entertainment such as playing games.
For example, according to Gamstat, eFootball PES 2020 added +530,000 users between 26th March and 26th April 2020. It also boasts of having 1,100,000 monthly active users.
