Recall that rapper was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and had been undergoing dialysis.

His management, in a statement issued on Monday August 22nd by Hon. Myke Pam, thanked the followers of the famous singer for their prayers and support.

Eedris Abdulkareem’s management also thanked the wife of the music star, Yetunde, for donating her kidney to save her husband’s life.

“As the recuperation and healing process begins for both of them, with the best that science can offer, under the ever benevolent gaze of the Almighty God, surrounded by the love and care of family, we ask that the prayers and support be sustained as they gradually get back on their feets again,” the statement added.

On Wednesday, July 6th reports revealed that the “Jaga Jaga” crooner had been diagnosed

with kidney failure and was undergoing dialysis.

Reacting to the show of love, Abdulkareem, in a video on his Instagram account

on Thursday, July 7th said he’s “in strong spirit”. He also said he will emerge from the situation successfully.

“Hello everyone my name is Eedris Abdulkareem, I want to thank you all for all your prayers and support.

I just want you all to know that I am in strong spirit, I am going to come out of this successfully by the grace of Almighty Allah,“ the rapper said.

Eedris shot to the limelight after being part of the group Remedies. Remedies included Tony Tetuila and Eddy Montana, before they finally went their separate ways, each taking up a solo career.
