The trailer for Wild Hearts, a monster hunting game by EA and Omega Force, dropped on Wednesday. While it is not the Monster Hunter game lookalike that enthusiasts have been looking forward to, they have similar features.
The game is set in Azuma, a fantasy fictional world that is inspired by feudal Japan. In the game, Kemono — usually peaceful beasts but not turned aggressive — are destroying villages in the land.

Players are tasked with using ancient life-sustaining tech to hunt down the creatures and try to restore balance in the region. It will be playable in solo modes and co-op. Wild Hearts release date is February 17, 2023.
Wild Hearts takes place in Azuma, a fantasy landscape inspired by feudal Japan, that is now rampaged by the once peaceful Kemono — altering their environment at the cost of citizens’ lives. The Kemono range from plant-infused squirrels to the massive Kingtusk wild boar. After a dreadful fight with the winter wolf Deathstalker, players become bearers of a life-sustaining technology and are compelled to restore balance across the region. – EA Wild Hearts premise.
Omega Force, the studio that made its name for creating the Dynasty Warriors video game franchise, is the secret arsenal in EA’s hunting game future. Since Capcom’s 2018 Monster Hunter: World game sold 18 million copies, it has been a frenzy to cash in on the appeal that monster slaying games hold for the gaming audience.
With EA’s more popular gaming franchise FIFA, launching its latest version in September 2022, it makes sense that the game makers have their audience looking forward to something else already.
Wild Hearts will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. The companies said nothing about previous gen consoles.
