EA has announced a new partnership with Spanish foremost club league, LaLiga, in its first major deal after FIFA. The gaming outfit revealed that it has several other deals on the way too.
The partnership makes EA LaLiga’s title sponsor for the 2023/2024 season and subsequent ones as it is described as a multi-year agreement. FIFA will be officially out of the bind with the company by 2023, and this works with when its LaLiga deal kicks off.
“…a complete rebrand of LaLiga with EA Sports including all logos, graphics, fonts, and other visual elements, while also delivering new in-game integration, broadcast highlights, and joint commitments to supporting grassroots initiatives,” EA says on what the deal covers.

Additionally, the partnership covers the second division of Spanish club football as well as an annual youth tournament and official esports competitions.
It appears that both Electronic Arts and FIFA are moving on from their partnership unscathed. The football governing body still seem to be sitting on their next plan in the gaming world, although, we have heard whispers of a possible standalone game.
As for EA, they have already unveiled what could be an iconic version of its video game, FIFA 23, with the inclusion of women’s club teams. Also, it has mentioned that its future games would be known as EA Sports FC.
