As part of the Shamrock Agreement, Dr. Dre may sell his artist royalties from two of his solo albums, his portion of the N.W.A. artist royalties, as well as his producer royalties and the writer’s share of the songs for which he does not hold the publication rights.
Billboard noted that these transactions as mostly “passive income streams” that generate about $10 million annually,
and he’s not selling his ownership stake in his record label, Aftermath.
