This concept laptop could be the basis or chassis on which future Dell laptops will be built on. Screw drivers do not open this laptop, neither are there glues for placements of the pieces.

The sides of the laptop are removable. Interestingly, the entire body of the laptop contains fewer screws than what Dell uses for its laptop. Dell made some physical changes in this concept laptop to reduce the product carbon footprint. Firstly, the Motherboard is smaller with 75% shrinking reducing the carbon front print by Del; to be around 50%.

Also, the company has changed the layout of the laptop, there is no fan so the laptop passively cools itself and it’s lighter. The aluminium chassis of the laptop is made using hydropower and stamped aluminium requiring less energy.
