BBNaija Season 7 evicted housemate Ayodeji ‘Deji’ Morafa, has revealed he participated in the reality show to escape pressure to get married.
The reality TV star made the revelation in a new interview with The CableLifestyle.
In the chat, Deji who is a pharmacist explained how he left the States for Nigeria for BBNaija Season 7 amid pressure from his mum to get married
“I relocated to the United States after my education where I work as a quality assurance specialist and also as a pharmacist. I was there for about 4 years and had to come back this year to be part of the BBNaija reality show.
I’m going to be honest with you. I was tired of the 9-5 job as it became boring. At one point, my mum was saying I have it all and advised me to get married so to avoid getting married. I decided to go for BBNaija. If I’m in BBNaija, she won’t disturb me to get married and give her grandkids. So that’s basically the inspiration.

Deji also talked about his relationship with Chichi and why he feels they share a connection.
“Let me just go straight to the point, the person I was talking to, Chichi, I feel we’re on the same page in the aspect of relationship or marriage. The same way I’m not ready to get married is the same way she isn’t now because she has a lot to achieve before settling now just like me.
I mean regardless, it doesn’t mean we will end up together. If we feel we’re better off as friends or be together we will. Right now, we aren’t pressuring ourselves”. He said.
