DMW crew leader, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke just released his first song of 2020 titled “2020 Letter To You”.
Although the year may have started on a controversial note for Davido, the artist is not relenting in his musical career.
In the song, he advised:
“Manage your stage, magnify your office, be true to yourself, comport yourself. I live this life for a place that everyone can go oh. Know your place and dedicate your role to the faith that you will die alone.”
Davido had dropped his album titled “A Good Time” in November 2019.
The album featured a number of top artists such as Chris Brown, Zlatan, Naira Marley, WurLD, Popcaan and a host of other talented artists.

Last week, the artist was called out on Twitter by Patrick Anyaene, the CEO of Golden Boy Entertainment. In a 17-tweet thread, the music boss revealed that Peruzzi got signed to DMW while he had an active contract with his label. Which, according to him was a breach of their agreement.
The straw that broke the camel’s back was when he alleged that Peruzzi and Davido’s fiancee, Chioma, were not cousins but had actually dated in the past.

However, Peruzzi shared his own side of the story, stating that it was all Patrick’s idea for him to meet Davido. He also revealed how Patrick destroyed the laptop where he had recorded over 27 songs while he was with him.
Meanwhile, Patrick has sworn that he will make the year 2020 hell for Davido and Peruzzi if he doesn’t get settled.
Well, Davido’s new single, “2020 Letter To You”, sounds good and he is starting the year on a good note amidst all the controversies. We await more releases from as the year progresses.
