David Schwimmer Responds To Rumours He’s Dating Jennifer Aniston

News outlet Closer Media had reported that the on and off on-screen lovers had reconnected after filming “Friends Reunion” for HBO. Apparently, Schwimmer 54, had flown out to see Aniston, 52, in her LA home afterward so they could visit a vineyard together.

“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA,” the insider claimed.

Of course, the internet went wild on learning this so much David Scwhimmer’s rep had to issue a statement.

No, they’re just friends and are definitely not dating, the statement said.

What gave the rumours more steam was the two admitting during the reunion to host James Corden that they had a massive crush on each other while filming “Friends”.

“The first season, I had a major crush on Jen” Schwimmer said. “At some point, we were crushing hard on each other. But it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.”

Aniston replied, “Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television.’ Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop.”

She added that instead of acting on those feelings for each other, they “channeled” it into their characters instead.

The two starred as Ross and Rachel, lovers on the David Crane and Marta Kauffman created show “Friends”. The show which grew to become a significant mainstay of pop culture aired from NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004.
