COVID-19 Update: Kano State Records First Death
Kano State has recorded its first case of COVID-19 death as the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria rises to 407.
Kano State Ministry of Health announced this via its official Twitter account on Wednesday night.

As at 11:20 pm 15th April, there are 407 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 128 discharged with 12 deaths.

Meanwhile, the NCDC has continued to sensitize Nigerians on the need to stay safe in the face of the pandemic. The agency has also tried in its effort at giving Nigerians timely update on COVID-19.
The Director-General of NCDC Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu while giving COVID-19 update in Abuja also revealed that they remain committed to keeping Nigerians informed on verified ways to stay safe against the pandemic.
Lagos state has the highest number of confirmed cases which has risen to 232, followed by FCT and Osun with 50 and 20 confirmed cases respectively.
President Buhari recently extended the lockdown in Lagos, FCT and Ogun by another 14 days to curb the spread of the virus.
