COVID-19: President Muhammadu Buhari Set To Address Nigerians Today

President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing the Nation today by 7.00pm. The new was made known via the official handle of The Presidency via its official handle.


As such, television, radio and other electronic media outlets in Nigeria to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

Nigeria confirmed the first case of the virus on February 28th 2020, with the index case being an Italian man who has recovered and is no longer in the hospital. Since then, unlike other president who’re leading from the front, Nigeria’s President hasn’t as much as addressed his citizens.


This has raised concerns from many as to why the president did not deem it fit to address and reassure Nigerians in the face of a killer pandemic.
