No, it’s not the Carters; it’s Ciara and Russel Wilson. In the season for interesting Halloween costumes, Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, showed the rest of the world who’s the boss. The couple dressed as Beyonce and Jay-Z in their video for “APES**T”. The music video, which currently has over 188 million views on YouTube, was shot in the Louvre.
With near-identical outfits that mimicked the power couple, you’d look twice before realising who it really is. In the music video, the Carters stood in front of the famous Mola Lisa painting and later a portrait of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. However, Ciara and Russell went instead for a portrait of former US leaders Michelle and Barack Obama.
Russell sported a small afro, like Jay-Z did in the video, and rocked an expensive chain. Ciara also channelled her inner Beyonce with a fierce pout, a similar hairstyle and a bada*s dance.
