Notorious pop star Chris Brown is being sued by his former backup dancer. Multiple times, Chris Brown has been on the wrong side of the law. But this time, it isn’t his fault. Well, not really.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, dancer Danielle Griffin filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown with claims that fake blood used on an unspecified video shoot caused her eye injuries.
The suit alleges a makeup artist named Angel “carelessly poured fake blood on (her) head without eye protection”. She said she had “assured her that the substance was safe,” despite it causing damage to both her eyes.
Griffin is seeking $25,000 “loss of wages including past and present,” and damages from Brown and his production team.
Griffin claimed the production company “had a duty to properly train its employees and agents on the use of dangerous substances including fake liquid blood when preparing dancers and performers for the music video.”
The suit reportedly also claims nobody provided assistance to Griffin during her recovery.
Chris Brown is yet to comment on being sued by his former backup dancer.
