Zeb Ejiro veteran Nollywood filmmaker has announced that his younger brother, Chico Ejiro will be buried on February 20, 2021.
Chico died on December 25, 2020, as a result of complications arising from High Blood Pressure. According to reports, Chico had just finished directing his recent movie when he died.
Zeb Ejiro told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos that the burial programme, planned in line with COVID-19 protocols, would start with a service of songs on 16th February 2021.
“The obsequies, which is the service of songs for Chico, my late brother, will be a private family event. The arrangements are basically to bring the COVID-19 protocols to bear.

“We considered that throwing it open will pull crowd. This is because people will want to be physically present, so we are taking advantage of the zoom for people to key-in,” Zeb Ejirosaid.
Chico had partnered with over 30 different movie organisations for television and film productions through his company, Grand Touch Pictures.
The director was the brain behind some of the biggest blockbusters in Nollywood including “Silent Night”, “Blood Money”, “Deadly Affair” amongst other movies of note.
The late Ejiro is survived by a wife, children, siblings, uncles and cousins. He would be laid to rest on 20th February at the Ejiro’s compound, Ozoro, Isoko North LGA of Delta.
