Big Brother Season 5 “lockdown” edition ended on a high note when viewers delight Olamilekan Agbemileshe popularly known as Laycon emerged winner during the Sunday night September 27th grand finale event.
Since then, thousands of his fans who’ve dubbed themselves “Icons” have been ecstatic with his win, spreading their fevered joy across the internet.
Laycon broke his silence since his win in an interview with show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. According to the new megastar, his win is still unbelievable to him.
While speaking with Ebuka, also Laycon shared he expected Dorathy to win and not himself. According to the rapper, he’d no plans of winning the show as he only entered the competition to promote his EP, “Who is Laycon.”

He shared that his first moment in the house, the reception he received from the other housemates was somewhat cold. This made him question what he was doing in the house as he felt like he didn’t fit in.
Speaking on the Erica situation, he says it was a learning curve for him. Laycon said he’d never been in such a situation before. The “Fierce” crooner said he never saw Erica in a bad way and gave her space because he didn’t want to come between her relationship with fellow housemate, Kiddwaya.
Laycon also expressed readiness to working with other former housemates who are musicians; Vee and Tricktee.
