Burna Boy And Jorja Smith’s “Be Honest” Goes Platinum In France

Burna Boy’s collaboration with British singer Jorja Smith “Be honest” has been certified platinum in France.

 

Burna Boy and Jorja Smith released “Be Honest” in 2019 and has already moved 200,000 copies in sales.

 

It was also Burna Boy’s second collaboration with Smith. Their first collaboration was “Gum Body,” which was released on the African Giant album.

Meanwhile, Chart Data Nigeria announced the news on its Twitter page recently. They also tweeted the fact that Burna was the only Nigerian artiste outside Wizkid to be certified platinum in France.

Damini Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, released his first single for the year titled “Odogwu” in February 2020.

 

Late last year, Burna Boy was nominated in the ” Best World Album” category for the 2020 Grammys. However, on 26th January 2020, he lost to the Beninese music legend, Angelique Kidjo.

 

Burna Boy had recently faced criticism because of his statements on social media. Many have called him out as being too proud and egotistic.
