Beyoncé Beats Jay-Z’s Record, Becomes The Most Nominated Artiste In The Grammys

Beyoncé has cemented yet another spot in Grammy history with her album “The Renaissance Age.”

After collecting eight nominations for the 65th Grammy Awards, the superstar now has 87 Grammy nominations, according to the Recording Academy.

Beyoncé has now received more nominations than any other artist in history, shattering Jay-previous Z’s mark, thanks to these new nominations.

With the nomination announcement, she has received nominations this year for:

  • Song of the Year for Break My Soul
  • Record of the Year for Break My Soul
  • Album of the Year.
  • Best Dance/Electronic Music Album Break My Soul
  • Best Dance/Electronic Recording for Virgo’s Groove
  • the best R&B performance, Plastic Off the Sofa
  • Best Traditional R&B Performance award
  • Best Song Written for Visual Media award for Be Alive. Written by King Richard

Prior to this, she and Paul McCartney tied for second place with 79 nominations for the 2020 Grammy Awards, making her the most nominated female artist overall.

According to the official Grammy website, only producers Jay-Z and Quincy Jones, who each had 80 nominations, had more at the time.

Thanks to the nominations announced on Wednesday, Beyoncé is now in a position to outperform other performers in terms of Grammy victories.

Famous conductor Georg Solti, who has won 31 honors, is the current champion. Beyoncé is presently the most honored female performer with 28 golden gramophone awards.
