The GRAMMY-nominated rapper Fat Joe served as host of the event, which included some significant Wins, moving tributes, and impressive performances.

Drake was nominated for 14 awards, including Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, Hip Hop Album of the Year, Hip Hop Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year. He was by far the most nominated artist. With six or more nominations each, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Baby Keem, Cardi B, and J. Cole were also at the top of the list.

Kendrick Lamar was the biggest winner of the night as he went home with six awards while Drake won three.
