Bella Shmurda Denies Being Drunk On Stage

Fast-rising artist Bella Shmurda has denied claims that he was drunk during a recent show of his.

On Tuesday a video began circulating the internet that showed the singer appearing to perform intoxicated.

The video sparked off mixed reactions on Twitter with many wondering why he has chosen the path of drugs and alcohol.

While some fans defended Shmurda, others insisted he was not sober. They proceeded to advise him to apply caution and not allow himself to be influenced into heavy usage of alcohol and drugs.

The singer has however debunked rumours that he was drunk on stage. The 23-year-old “Cashapp” crooner on Instagram stories wrote that people should stop spreading false information

“Be careful with false information. Verify your news before putting it out,” he wrote.

 

He then shared a clip of him performing in Ibadan, Oyo State as though to further quash the rumours.

Meanwhile, Bella Shmurda recently gushed over musicians Zlatan and Olamide thanking them for saving him from a life of hard drugs and alcohol.

On an Instagram live session with Zlatan, Shurmda enthused;

“I love you. I was going astray, but you supported me with everything in 2020. You [Zlatan], Olamide, Poco Lee and Papisnoop. I was going astray when you found me and helped me. I was smoking and drinking nonsense, but you helped me.”

 

Bella Shmurda rose astronomically to fame in 2020 after his smash hit single, “Cashapp”. He soon became one of the hottest Nigerian artists.
