Fans have been asking for many months now when the reality TV would kick off. The producers of the show decided to put them out of their misery with the latest announcement. What’s even more exciting is that it’s just a few weeks away.
According to a post shared on Monday, 3rd June 2019, on the official Instagram page of DSTV, it’s scheduled to premiere on 30th June 2019.
“Okay! We CAN’T wait no more!😤 #BBNaija2019 storms your screens on June 30th!🔥 *Available on all DStv packages* Proudly sponsored by @bet9jaig,” the post reads.
Also speaking on the announcement, the CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr John Ugbe, had this to say:
“The Big Brother franchise remains one of the most exciting content options available to viewers across the world. Big Brother Naija, which is easily the most popular version in Africa, is finally here and for the first time since 2006, the show will be hosted in Nigeria.
“Our viewers should expect the very best of entertainment, intrigue and drama, all delivered with excellent production standards straight from a house here in Nigeria.”
Where will BBNaija Season Four be filmed?
The first season was tagged Big Brother Nigeria. The second was “See Gobe,” while the third season was tagged ‘Double Wahala.’
Unlike the third edition, “Double Wahala”, which was filmed in South Africa, this time, Big Brother Season Four will be filmed in Nigeria. The show will last 90 days and, while the theme is still being withheld, Multichoice released a teaser on 2nd May 2019 called “Forget Wahala”.
