You might have heard of commercial banks shading themselves on social media in a battle for supremacy and called it Bank Wars, now, they will actually enter an arena for bragging rights over one another.

Access, FCMB, Standard Chartered, Zenith, GTB, Sterling, Union, and Fidelity Banks will go to war in the latest FIFA 21 on the latest PS5 console in the maiden edition of the competition.

Bank Wars
Here are the fixtures!

The event is organised to provide representatives of Nigerian commercial banks an avenue to bond, have fun and of course, banter. Winner will be winners and proudly display their winning, while losers, well, will be trolled. Of course, we’d all enjoy the social media banter that would follow, hopefully, we see some mind-boggling score lines.

The competition has two groups of four teams who will play their way to the finals. Of course, we made sure that a certain sensitive bank is playing a certain troublemaker, just maybe we’d see revenge or the bank will continue to be a laughing stock on social media.

Bank Wars is organised by the Tech Experience Center in collaboration with Samsung. The event will hold live at the majestic Yudala Heights building on Idowu Martins street, VI, Lagos from Saturday, 8th May 2021.

If you’re wondering why your bank is not among the eight, they got an invite and didn’t respond to it quickly. If your bank cannot come out to have some fun, we wonder how they’d react to you when you make complaints.

You can follow the games with the hashtag #BankWarsReloaded. Football comes with banter and this one will surely be interesting. You also can follow the games HERE.
