Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has made the shocking revelation that she is a mother and has a son with fellow rapper Playboi Carti.
Azalea let her fans in on the information in a now-deleted post on Instagram.
“I have a son. kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize that I am always going to feel anxious to share the news that giant with the world.”
“I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret & I love my son beyond words,” Iggy told her fans.
Azalea and Carti met in 2018 while she was touring overseas and started dating shortly after.

The couple confirmed their romance in 2019. The musicians also decided to move in together. Carti confirmed the big step in their relationship in a summer 2019 cover interview with Fader.
“Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody. It was over with, I support everything she does.” he shared with the outlet, explaining how he and Azalea had moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles together.
Things seemed to heat up in July 2019, when Azalea stepped out flaunting a massive diamond ring on her left hand. Fans instantly started speculating that the pair were engaged, though they are yet to address it themselves.
