Although the gaming smartphone company is yet to confirm the news, watchers have spotted specs for a coming Asus ROG Phone 6D. According to early reports, it will be faster than the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro just announced in July 2022.
Gadget360 obtained some details after a tech leaker, Tipster Digital Chat Station, shared an image of the Asus ROG Phone 6D performance on Weibo. It claims that the device would be even faster than the Pro version.
To understand what this means, you need to consider that after its announcement, industry testers confirmed that Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is the fastest flagship Android phone. It had launched with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a variant that offers 18GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Now, Asus ROG Phone 6D will allegedly do better and has been rumoured to be carrying a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. Although, the other details are still a bit sketchy, it is said to be equipped with a Samsung display capable of 165Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, it could have a 6,000mAh battery and 65W fast charging capability, just like its predecessor. Likely, it would have the same RAM and storage capacity as well.
The tipster got the info from China 3C certification website and the device appeared on the RoHS certification tab (as well as on its official site).
Asus has not confirmed that it is working on another ROG Phone 6 variant.
