Apple’s iPhone 12 Launch Confirmed For 13th October 2020

Apple has confirmed its next event of 13th October 2020 and we will likely see it launch its 5G-enabled iPhone 12. Here are the other details about the event.

The event will be an all-digital experience like all global tech events have been due to the global pandemic. Apple had held its Worldwide Developers Conference, OS updates announcements, and Apple Watch and iPad events in 2020 online.

The company posted an invite on its website asking people all over the world to join them. It says that the event kicks off by 10 am PDT, which is 3 am in the UK.

According to rumours that have been circulating, Apple will be launching four new iPhones namely; iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. This is the obvious conclusion as it has already launched many of its other products like the iPad Air and Apple Watch 6.

However, the company is still keeping things a secret and we expect that it will not reveal much details until the day of the event itself.

The iPhone 12 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2020. Many enthusiasts have been waiting for it all year long. Initially, the coronavirus pandemic had seemingly threatened its launch. But the company assured the public that the phone will roll out in 2020 despite it missing its usual September launch date.

Leaks have suggested that while the iPhone 12 will be coming with impressive specifications, a 120Hz or 90Hz refresh rate will not be part of these specifications. Also, there are rumours that Apple will soon launch its first over-ear headphones. Will the Apple over-ear headphones launch with the iPhone 12? We will have to wait to find out.
