Apple is reportedly finishing its electric vehicle custom chip ahead of a 2025 public launch, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The tech company seems to be planning an electric vehicle autonomous company, secretly called project “Titan.”
The custom made chip that will be the brain of this autonomous electric vehicle company appears to have reached completion. Self-driving technology is almost nearing maturing as Apple looks to dive into that space.
This custom made chip according to Gurman will be used for test vehicles that will provide “stronger safeguards than what’s available from Tesla and Waymo.”
The same reporter Gurman said Netflix will make available its games for iOS users through the App store despite Apple’s restrictions. Netflix games are already available for Android users via the Google Play Store.
According to him, the Apple App store policies will prevent the streaming platform from publishing its own games. Apple doesn’t allow third-party apps from publishing their games on the App store.

Apple has gone the route as Gurman has earlier predicted, “Apple will need to change its rules or grant Netflix an exemption” was his exact words about the move by Netflix.
The Bloomberg reporter believes that if Apple’s autonomous electric vehicles don’t arrive at 2025 as planned, the company can do a postponement. Another option will be to sell an electric vehicle that doesn’t offer autonomous tech, the titan project fails.
