Accessing the app store connect

Having this level of security is already required for accessing Apple’s Developer portal. However, with App Store Connect, you can stroll right in with your simple password. But, Apple says all that is going to change from next year.

In a publication by Apple, it said; “Starting February 2021, additional authentication will be required for all users to sign in to App Store Connect. This extra layer of security for your Apple ID helps ensure that you’re the only person who can access your account.”

It’s important to note that two-step verification and two-factor authentication aren’t quite the same. Although they are both made to achieve the same thing; better security, apple suggests that one is different from the other.

Apple says the two-factor authentication is the newer method of the two. It is built directly into the operating system. Then again, two-venture check depends on email and SMS. You’re protected with any of the two. On an additionally alleviating note, ‘Application Store Connect’ will acknowledge both security alternatives. In the event that you as of now have these security alternatives empowered; at that point you don’t have to worry.
