World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is now the second richest young sportsperson in the United Kingdom.
The ranking conducted on by The Sunday Times saw Gareth Bale topping the table as the youngest richest sportsperson in the UK. He was followed closely by the Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua.
Asides from Joshua, others on the sports stars Young Rich List include African footballers aged 30 and below. Among them are Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, and N’Golo Kante.
Anthony Joshua reportedly raked in an estimated £78 million from his fights with Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019, shooting his net worth to £107 million. Joshua took home £18 million at Madison Square Garden despite losing to Andy Ruiz Jr last year.

Joshua reclaimed his titles from Andy Ruiz Jr, six months after he lost the titles. The boxer was born to a Nigerian-Irish father, Robert Joshua, and a Nigerian mother, Yeta Odusanya.
