Dolby Atmos offered by Apple Music and Sony’s 360 Reality Audio formats are now available on the Amazon platform. Songs that support spatial audio have the Atmos or Sony’s 360 badges on the Amazon Music app for easy identification.

This isn’t the first time Amazon is supporting spatial audio. It first had support in 2019 but was limited to some devices including Sony’s SRS-RA5000 and Echo-Studio.

This new development lifts those restrictions with support for all headphones. Amazon says its spatial audio feature produces a “multidimensional audio experience; adding space, clarity, and depth that is not achievable with traditional stereo music.”

There is a high probability that Amazon is releasing its own smart fridge according to reports. This new hardware is known as “Project Pulse” internally; and “is designed to track your inventory and purchase habits, predict what you want, and have it delivered.”
