Tesla CEO, Elon Musk has added another role to his current one at the electric vehicle company and its “Technoking”. Weird right? Wait till you hear the new position handed to the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Zach Kirkhorn.
In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, along with the company announced Musk as the Technoking and Kirkhorn’s new position as “Master of Coin”.
“Elon and Zach will also maintain their respective positions as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer,” the filing clarifies. Just so there is no ambiguity.

This is not entirely surprising though as Musk is known as eccentric. Last year, he decided to release a mixtape, which is not something that most CEOs would do, then he gave his son an alien style or computer code type name.
Musk is also very active on Twitter, unlike other CEOs, using the social media site to taunt reporters and government regulators. He is also more engaging than the average CEO but also takes to the extent of conducting beta tests of Tesla’s new driver assistance software on his customers, even misrepresenting it as autonomous technology.
Tesla itself apart from innovation is can also be eccentric sometimes. The company’s sci-fi movie Esque CyberTruck is expected to go into production later this year. The company also recently took out funds from its purse to purchase Bitcoin with Musk himself known as a promoter of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency.
Tesla’s investors won’t mind though, as long as Elon Musk keeps bringing in the profits, all hail the Technoking.
