Award-winning Afropop and highlife artiste Adekunle Gold drops an energetic video for his new song “Young Love”. In his normal fashion, Adekunle Gold delivered amazing vocals, singing about love and his commitment to it.
One cannot help but think he is talking about his wife, Simi, when he says “I don’t need a guideline to handle your waistline”. Also, he mentions that he is “drunk on her moonshine”. How romantic!
Directed by Fred Focus and Tadia Toussaint, the video features beautiful shots from an American suburb. It also features a party where Adekunle Gold sings and dances to this lively song.
This song is a good follow-up to his last hit “Kelegbe Megbe”, although it strays from his usual highlife flow.
